DEAR STUDENTS,
Welcome to The George Washington University! We’re proud that
you’ve chosen to join our Revolutionary community and are excited
to help you find your home on our campuses! As your Vice Provost
for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, I lead a team of student
affairs professionals dedicated to supporting you across the many
facets of your life at GW.
You belong here, and no matter what you are hoping to receive from
your undergraduate experience, my team in the Division for Student
Affairs will help foster connection with your peers, offer opportunities for growth and leadership,
and create an environment where wellbeing comes first. The GW community is built by scholars,
leaders, creators and innovators who approach challenges with curiosity and critical thinking and
who are dedicated to making a difference in the world. With the support of our world-renowned
faculty, you’ll have opportunities to expand your knowledge and tackle real-world challenges, drive
innovative research, and get engaged with your new community through internships and service.
Beyond the classroom, I encourage you to explore your passions and develop your leadership skills
as you get involved with student organizations that align with your interests. You’ll quickly find that
there is no shortage of activities - our campuses are always teeming with opportunities to build
fellowship, find adventure, explore your curiosities.
