Purpose
The Student Involvement team focuses on the student experience through student
organizations, leadership programs, and fraternity and sorority life. The team facilitates
involvement and engagement in the campus community so that students can find
belonging and connectedness at GW.
Services
GW Engage: Your hub to getting involved at GW! Packed full of organizations of all kinds
and tons of events throughout the year, there’s something for everyone. Most events are
free, and all are fun!
Fraternity and Sorority Life: With more than 1,200 students and 32 chapters across four
councils, FSL offers students the opportunity to build lifelong friendships, develop
leadership skills and give back to the community. FSL is one of GW’s longest-standing
traditions with over 155 years of history on campus.
Student Organizations: Dedicated to an array of causes, identities and interests, student
organizations put on some of the most highly anticipated campus events and offer
endless opportunities for involvement and leadership.

There are more than 500 student organizations at GW, so there’s
something for everyone! Need help finding orgs that align with your
interests? Stop by the Org Help Desk in USC 433A Monday through Friday
from 12-5 p.m. for an involvement consultation.
TRY NEW THINGS
Don’t be afraid to try new things, attend org meetings and talk to student org
leaders! Everyone is excited for you to find your passion and get involved.
