GW, they choose from one of several meal plan options, giving them more
flexibility and customization as second-year students and beyond.
Students enrolled on the All Access or Revolutionary 85 meal plans also
have the additional perk of Flex Meals each semester. One Flex Meal is
allotted per week from Sunday to Saturday at Chick-fil-A, Panda Express,
and District House Market. Flex Meals do not carry over into future weeks.
Your Flex Meal resets each Sunday at 12 am.
On-Campus Dining:
Three all-you-care to eat dining spaces: in Thurston, Shenkman and West
Residence Halls, District House and University Student Center dining
offers six different quick service locations where you order a “meal deal,”
i.e., entree, side and drink. Zingers (Kosher), Panda Express, Chick-fil-A.

GWorld Dining Partners:
A set amount of Dining Dollars are included with your unlimited meal plan.
Use your dining dollars like a debit card to “eat out” at one of more than 60
dining partners across campus and in DC.

The Student Health Center (SHC) at the George Washington University is
a multidisciplinary, integrated, student health care service that provides
confidential, student-centered care in an accessible, safe, culturally
sensitive, and supportive environment. The SHC seeks to promote healthy
lifestyle choices and to holistically support the physical and emotional
well-being of students to achieve academic success.
The District of Columbia Immunization Law requires that all students who
are under the age of 26 upon entrance to the University must provide
proof of certain immunization prior to registration. All incoming students
are required to complete a TB Questionnaire through the student portal.
Fall 2024: Newly-admitted undergraduate, graduate, non-degree, or
transfer students for the Fall Semester under the age of 26 by July
1st are required to provide proof of immunization or they will incur a
registration hold on their student account. Spring 2025: Newly-admitted
undergraduate, graduate, non-degree, or transfer students for the Spring
Semester under the age of 26 by January 1st are required to provide
proof of immunization or they will incur a registration hold on their student
account.
The SHC offers:
Medical Services - The SHC Medical Services team offers primary and
preventive care services, management of acute/non-emergent medical
needs, ongoing care for chronic medical issues and referrals for specialty
services. We offer point of care testing as well as phlebotomy services
provided by Quest Diagnostics on site.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) - GW CAPS works
collaboratively with students to provide compassionate, comprehensive,
and inclusive mental health services that foster emotional and personal
